Claska in Tokyo is so many things. It's a hotel, restaurant and bar, gallery, shop and cultural space. Hitspark@claska was a three day event, held last month to discuss current issues in the creative industry and how best to support and encourage the next generation of design in four categories:
Art & Culture - Delivering the latest news in culture, art & design.
Sustainable Business - Discussing the latest in sustainable business trends.
Social Design - Understanding the relationship between society and design.
People - Design philosophy and what really captures the human mind.
This paper park installation was part of the event. I wish I could have taken an afternoon stroll through it. The little trees are so beautiful. The higher the stack, the taller the tree. I'm so inspired! I'm thinking xmas 2010, I'm thinking paper trees!

Claska is my favourite hung out in Tokyo. I go there every so often but I missed this event! It sounds really interesting, what a shame! I adore your shop by the way, looking so lovely I love your selections :)
