horst kiechle's irregular forms... October 20, 2011

Horst Kiechle believes that,
‘an environment less dominated by orthogonality and regular grid patterns – an environment much more influenced by curves and natural irregularity – might subconsciously lead to more open-minded mental pictures of society, our relationship with nature and the world in general.’

ah! He’s sooo right! So much more work for him though there so much more info in his shapes than a square place.
I would love to walk through his spaces, just feeling the vibration of the place; thanks for this post! After a couple of years after graduation and having a couple of jobs and meeting a lot of people who care more for square places I’ve almost forgotten how it should be..

Lydia, I could not stop thinking about that quote for weeks after I read it. I started becoming more aware of how four-walled everything is :) I too would love to walk through his spaces!
