Since discovering Valérie’s work (see my previous post) I’ve had paper rolling on my mind. Here is another beautiful collection of work that has been made with rolled paper. French artist Michèle Guichard Soutif has been rolling paper since she was a little girl. I really love her patterns and colour combinations. These look so much like woven pieces to me.

Wow! I love the rolled paper pieces, both in this and your previous post.

If you’re interested, why not give a rolled paper project a go yourself? I did a rolled paper monogram before Christmas and posted a tutorial on my blog here: http://www.okifolki.co.uk/2011/11/diy-monogram-wall-art.html It was time-consuming, but there wasn’t much skill involved and I was really pleased with the result.
