So many of our favourite finds come from an incredibly inspiring Japanese artist, Ayame Kikuchi. Yuki Nobuko collects beautiful things from the sea. Sea Urchin Friends is Yuki’s study of the petal-like shapes sand dwelling urchins known as Sand Dollars boast. Recreated in thick paper this series includes four Sea Urchin species that come with beautiful details such as letterpress patterns, blind embossing and die-cutting too. This set also includes a tiny accordion booklet titled Piece of the Sea that documents Yuki’s precious urchin collection and uncovers more of Yuki’s nature inspired LAVVO brand. All pieces come inside a translucent envelope. This series of Sea Urchin Friends is made in Japan.
