Check out these very cool paper gliders that are a first to Australia! A little birdy told us that Flokk Colour Wings have been known to glide through the air for sometimes more than one minute! And no surprise, really, as they were designed and developed by airplane engineering pioneer, Dr Yasuaki Ninomiya, the Chairman of Japan’s Association for paper airplanes (we want his job!). With their aerodynamic design, these gliders definitely go further than your average paper plane. When properly tuned and under good flying conditions, Flokk can ride thermals and gain impressive altitudes and distances of up to 270 metres. They come in four bright colours – light blue, sunny yellow, hot pink or vibrant orange. And, you’ve got to love this, no tools, glue or scissors are required – it comes with pre-cut adhesive parts, ready for you to peel away and assemble in less than 10 minutes! Each glider comes with illustrated instructions, balsa-wood body, pre-cut paper parts and a rubber catapult set. Package size is 28.5cm × 11.5cm.
