Kyoto based artist Mihoko Seki creates the most magical patterns and pictures from stencils. This 100% cotton furoshiki is hand-dyed, bursting with colour, and ready for wrapping. Furoshiki are a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth perfect for bundling up all sorts of things for transporting. We love wrapping things with them like books, lunchboxes, bottles of wine and boxes of chocolates. Use them for presenting gifts in a super nice way. Traditionally furoshiki are kept by their owners to re-use endlessly, a nice eco-friendly alternative to a plastic or paper bag. These days furoshiki are put to more decorative uses such as scarves, bags, headbands, throws, wall hangings and more. This illustrated furoshiki is made in Japan and measures 520mm x 520mm.
