We probably spend more time gazing at this little work of art than we do reading our books. This handmade bookmark was originally designed for an exhibition in Kamakura, Japan. We were lucky enough to discover the artist Tegamiya (Terada Mizuho) during a recent trip to Japan. A true artisan, Tegamiya likes to create works that evoke feelings of nostalgia, and this is depicted perfectly in the image with a beautiful bird circling above a building in Kamakura. The Koto Bookmark has been illustrated, cut, and stitched by hand, and it measures 40mm x 125mm. The trick will be finding a book that’s worthy of it!
